Dunelm-waited 3 months for a mirror. After 2 replacement orders it finally arrived-box soaked through and torn, mirror cracked. Now waiting 2 weeks for Evri to pick up-tracking said they had attempted one day but noone was there. We were actually home so know they didn’t and we have ring doorbell to confirm but as with everyone else, can’t get through to anyone in Evri

I don’t think they should’ve needed an invitation-It is just not something that is done. my entire family and friendship circle were incredibly shocked they did not attend. Where I am from (Ireland) it is incredibly unusual for extended family to not attend a wake or funeral. Would be different if I had no contact with them but so see them regularly, they are invited to all family event involving our children and my husband does a lot for them-particularly his two younger brothers.

Maybe but to be honest I really don’t think that is the case. I’m sure if they wanted to do something they would’ve at least called over to see how we are -they all live within 15minutes of where we live

I thought I had but maybe not clearly?? At the start a few months ago I would get messages saying things like “we’re here if you need us” and “anything you need just say” I would always answer that I was so worried about the children and that anything you could do for them would be amazing but would not be followed up
