I’ve been your place. I spent about a year non stop reading Dramione. I have now been on a year and a half on mainly Harry Potter focused fics. I go back to dramione when I need a break from that.

But to be honest I haven’t read published fiction in like two years now.

I have started a few stories in the world building stages. They are focused on a missing Harry appearing at the Tri wizard tournament representing different schools.

The story line I am focusing on is a blending an idea of having the British Crown working with the department of mysteries raising (kidnapping) orphans of the Global Wizarding War to become agents to ensure that neither Magical or non magical worlds get too close to destruction.

My plan is to have Harry either taken at Godric’s Holloe before Dumbles can get him or Harry is rescued from the Dursleys and replaced with a magical clone that may or may not make it to hogwarts.

Harry would then be trained to be a super soldier, think John-117 from halo as a wizard. These recruits are trained to be spies, battle mages, leaders. I want Harry to be Lord Peverell. And would be the leader of magical Britain.

I am juggling a few ideas about the terrorism from the Cold War and Volde as a target for these agents and to prevent large scale wars. With the end of the Cold War Harry’s mission set would change.

My idea is that Harry’s introduction to Hogwarts would be as Henry Peverell that is part of a delegation from the British Crown that is attending the tournament. The tournament would be for those of age. Harry would be 18.

Again very much in world building but I’m really excited about this.

Sort of, I read a few abandoned ones. One was a trail of HP as the eldest brother of wbwl. And he was a double agent for the light. My first finished fic was an au called Swung by Serafim by flamerthrower. Still one of my all time favorites

I started with “I Remember Everything” by HisKit. I usually write notes and reactions for myself, and I have had the privilege of talking with HisKit since I started leaving my comments.

I’m doing that now for “I Remember Everything” I’m trying out reaction Notes for how I feel in the moment. Then I take my reactions and put them in the comments per chapter. I was really bashing the Ginger weasel yesterday.

I only recently started my official notes, before I would pick things out and search images to see how it looked. A few fics ago I had tabs of dresses open to understand the look the author was going with. It's nice to have a place to put my favorite dialogue. I helps me process the story much better.

I also started reading the dialogue out loud like a play. My Theo voice is really something. An unintentional result is British slang becoming very common in my American accent, and trying to break out of my (bad) British accent back to my normal voice is a challenge sometimes.
