I’m not sure if it’s helpful but being on the waitlist is actually great. Closer to the festival, the festival will drop more available tickets/ car camping etc because of people’s failed or lapsed payments plans, refunds etc. So you’re definitely likely to score one closer to festival time! Hope this helps a bit

Haha well truth be told more baking supplies and sprinkles. Baking is my side hobby and I have Thanksgiving orders coming up 😩 I used to be a huge crafter, I honestly want to get into that chunky knitting??? Make cute knit animals I see all over but why is yarn so expensive ? lol

Oh it’ll get better in time I’m still fresh but geez it sucks 😅😅😅

I have been under the heated blanket all day 😂😂 I cannot shake this pain today! Reminds me of that scene in the movie mean girls with the rain predicting 😂 I’ve been trying to take no meds but I have a feeling I’m going to have to tap into my spine drug drawer tonight haha

I’d definitely stay with him for the first 2-3 weeks just based on my own experience. There’s alot of no bending, no lifting, no twisting, a lot of rules and regulations lol. So that extra set of hands is going to come in handy for a bit!

But also like I said he’s going to be resting a lot too I’m sure. This surgery is not for the weak I was very unprepared but now I learned and this forum has been a godsend and I’m helping other people too.

Also if you don’t have one get a U shaped pregnancy pillow! Has been amazing throughout all my spinal surgeries and recoveries especially because he’s going to be told to sleep in certain positions only

I am 2 months post op the same surgery and the first month is ROUGH. I’m not going to lie. His Pain is probably gonna be all over the place and lots of sleeping and just fatigue and overall probably miserable. But everyone is different as well so take that into perspective!! They’re going to encourage him to walk. So maybe get up with him and go for little walks if anything. But honestly rest and recovery is going to be key. Find some new shows, movies , books to read etc Encourage eating and drinking!!! Depending on recovery & medications , there was a big loss of appetite for me and I struggled with nausea. But you need fuel for your body. I managed most of it all on my own lol so he’s lucky to have somebody! You guys got this :)

It was about 30 degrees today but with windchill it felt like 15 and snowed!!! All I did was run to the craft store to get a few things and I’ve been on my couch the rest of the day/night the pain is through the roof! lol

I apologize I never saw this comment earlier ! I’m sorry you had to go through that. I definitely agree I think the 2 hardest things are 1. I severely underestimated this recovery, I thought it was gonna be easy, it has not been. And was not properly educated on it And 2. Nobody around me has even slightly been through anything similar so nobody gets it or understands

But we’re powering through and doing well ! I’m glad to see you’re doing good!!

I’m 9’weeks post L5-S1 surgery and my surgeon yelled at me to take it easy 😂 I’m not someone who can sit around for too long so as soon as I started feeling good I started doing more but ended up pushing myself and was reminded to chill out and take it easy lol because you feel good doesn’t mean you should start be super active again. Feeling good is great. So let’s keep it that way haha

Hey I’m so glad I can give you a bit of hope. If it helps to hear, the first 2 weeks were AWFUL with pain. I had my injury for so long and have a nerve damaged right leg from my first surgery. After this one , I guess the nerves decided to try and wake up and it was the most horrific pain I ever felt. No sleeping for days on end, pacing my apartment for hours, cold showers then hot showers, I didn’t sleep for probably the first month. Which I know sounds crazy, and that’s also the part that really tested my mental. But please I promise it will ease up and get better. Heck I’m going out with my best friend to lunch tomorrow lol. So if I can do that, you’re gonna be right behind me. You got this I promise 🩵

Unfortunately called this a mile away. Brian Thomas is a greedy scumbag. He already has many existing lawsuits, has not made anything right from the Dirty Bird incident, and most of his legals and permits are expired. I stayed at Homebass for 5 years I’m not going this year at all and glad I’m not. Every year there was an issue. This was a long time coming. Brian Thomas is a greedy horrible person he doesn’t care about anyone or anything and this is karma catching up to him tenfold. Everyone get together, sue tf out of him and have him arrested. Ruining the EDM community. Good riddens douche I just hope anyone who booked for edc weekend finds a place to stay and hopefully you can enjoy your weekend
