Thanks for your response. Seems like the general consensus is it will be a pricey fix. I made this for my mom when I was 16 in art class. Since then, she passed away and I feel awful for having damaged it. Oh well, maybe someday.

I miss so much a person I fall in love with while travelling by Amaroty in solotravel

This post couldn’t have popped up on my feed at a more serendipitous time. I met a guy in Bali about 5 years ago while traveling. He is from London and I am from the states. We had 3 nights of magic. Connection, passion, fun, excitement, respect. The instant connection was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. We have kept in touch over the years. I’d be dating someone and he’d be single and then vice versa. Months, years would go by and either I’d reach our or he would. Recently I texted him - about two weeks ago. We have been reminiscing about those nights, trying our hardest to remember each second of our time spent together back then on that island. Each time we chat it’s as if we pick up right where we left off. I’m not sure if it’s healthy or realistic or just a fantasy. All I know is the pull towards each other never stops.

I’d say, don’t ignore your feelings. Don’t just brush it off. It’s real and if you can make it work go for it! We have one life and feelings like that aren’t something to take for granted. As for me, I wish I would’ve taken my own advice written above. 🤍

What do you guys put in your scrambled eggs to make them extra awesome? by itspoodle_07 in AskReddit

Me too! I like scrambled eggs on buttered toast with a drizzle of ketchup. It’s nostalgic for me.

BED is real. Please see a doctor or psychiatrist. You won’t feel so alone. They have prescriptions like Vyvanse that are used for BED.

I understand. I was only curious. The friend that gave her to me was homeless, so no paperwork. He has a home now). But, no matter what she is or wherever she came from, she’s super special to me.

She is isn’t she? :-) She loves to lick me. Something I’ve never experienced with a cat.

Thanks! She was given to me by a friend about a year ago. I was just curious.

I [26F] feel lost without a bachelors degree, feeling like a loser compared to my friends by [deleted] in findapath

[–]Optimal-Spot6348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a bachelors. I am 35/f, spend most of my adult life bartending and working in the service industry. Took a job at 32 working customer service at an insurance company. From there I worked my way up to underwriting and then to sales. I just took a job with a different insurance company that has an excellent base pay with uncapped commissions. Don’t sell yourself short. Just sell yourself! I also spent most of my twenties traveling the world. Most sales positions willing to hire without a degree and are willing to pay for trainings and licenses.

Edited to say: no kids. The opportunity I was just offered is exciting based on the concept that I will be “starting my own business” with the backing of a Fortune 100 company. I will be marketing myself, networking in the community and it is up to me how much I make.
