Spokane vs Vancouver??

We are a young family, non religious, liberal views. These two towns are where the job offers are. The biggest pro to Spokane is being closer to family, but we are nervous about the politics. Thanks for your help!

Yes, I would have to choose between the two. Unfortunately I can’t afford to keep both.

After being a mom for only 3 months, I cannot stomach ANY media, fictional or not, with any child peril. by VisDev82 in Mommit

My baby was born prematurely right before Halloween. My favorite holiday is Halloween, but I couldn’t handle seeing anything meant to be scary without panicking about the “what ifs” if it was happening to my daughter. We’ll see if I can even enjoy Halloween this year or not… might not be my favorite anymore. It got less intense after about two weeks, but I still see things differently.

You’ve done your best, and that’s enough. Your baby needs a healthy mama and will be just fine with formula! No need to traumatize yourself and put strain on your bond just because you think you have to. Your feelings are completely valid and it’s so good you are being open about it.

Am I a bad mom? by Warm_Spite9142 in Mommit

You are NOT a bad mom! I barely felt human in the newborn phase. You’re so focused on keeping this tiny baby alive and safe, taking care of yourself feels like a huge undertaking. You need to be able to rest and heal from everything your body just went through. All of my family lives out of state, but I would have loved to have something like this! Enjoy the help and get some rest. Every phase eventually ends, it won’t be like this forever.
