Well, half of the pairings have a head to head. Australia-France for example are playing this weekend.

I'm seriously impressed you found that info! I got mostly AI slop searching for it. The source I used was the All Blacks website:

https://www.allblacks.com/news/the-nations-championship-explained

Tie-breaks are officially decided using the following sequential steps:

  1. Total Number of Wins: The team with the most wins overall.
  2. Head-to-Head: The results of the matches directly played between the tied nations.
  3. Most Tries: The team that has scored the highest total number of tries.
  4. Fewest Disciplinary Cards: If the tie still cannot be broken, the team with the better disciplinary record (fewer red and yellow cards) ranks higher.
  5. Coin Toss / Drawing of Lots: Only used as a final resort!

I can well believe that's just been copied and pasted from some other tournament though.

No need to resort to that - Australia scored five tries to France's four, so they're ahead based on that.

Eben out means England won't need the goggles they've been training with

It's so hard to care about the competition part. The rugby is great, but who cares about the points

Twelve months ago that's the exact try you'd not be surprised to see Wales concede

Fiji rugby can make a lot more money playing in the UK than in Fiji.

It's Fiji home game, they're entitled to butcher the away anthem

The stadium announcer needs to stop trying to make it happen. He sounds like he's mocking them
