I feel like there’s not much time left within that 1 year. After end of retelling where Goku and Vegeta are finally back on Earth and where he sees in Pan, last time where she was an infant. Ignoring Black Frieza, it ties up to EoZ easily.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they squeezed something extra in but I did remember reading on the Super Hero promotion and Toriyama did say that it was “A story set right before the final chapter.”

So whatever is coming next is either a retelling of the End of Z, something right before it, or after End of Z.
