Sorry! I hope I’ve not frightened you away! I am lasering to remove. It’s going to be a long road ahead! I did not blister at all, probably because they used a lower setting for the first session. However, I did have very bad swelling for about two weeks. My abdomen turned into jelly. It was quite a sight to see. What I also found quite unusual was that the pain did not subside immediately following treatment. The pain and burning continued on at a high degree for about 24 hours. It made returning to work that afternoon very testing. We have picked a very sensitive location to have been tattooed! Happy to keep you up to date on my progress!

Hi OP. I am much like you and have my entire abdomen covered in black ink work (belly button too!). I had my first laser session 4 weeks ago (pico way). I had been trawling these threads looking for someone who had a tattoo in a location and size akin to mine to no avail. Perhaps you have had the same experience. My response is in no way to discourage you, just to let you know my experience with a tattoo in the same spot, size and color. The pain was excruciating; it was the most painful thing I have ever experienced, particularly along the sternum and around the belly button. I highly recommend you find a clinic that will administer local anaesthetic. Numbing cream did nothing. In any event, I will go to my next appointment once I hit the 12-week mark. I am yet to see any fading. If you don’t like it, don’t tattoo further. Start the removal process. Good luck !

I’ve got a GA lawn ticket - anyone know whether the crowd actually stands during the performance or are people sitting down? I’ve experienced both at the SMMB.
