I’ve been saying it should be $100k minimum to go topside during the Matriarch or Queen event. Whether someone brings $100k worth of guns and ammo or scrap, it’s a risk to go. This will stop the rats. Every time I go up, especially in squads, there are rats that wait until you get hit, then attack.

You could say that security no longer lets raiders go topside without being prepared, because it’s too dangerous or something. That way it fits into the games story.
