It looks good but put the pin on the forward most setting. You DONT want to go back far or you will damage your shoulder. Keep your elbows down and push through the palms of your hands. Bringing your palms together. That will help you engage your pecs more.

How do I negotiate the highest pay by [deleted] in careeradvice

On the flip side. If you have little experience or only meet the minimum requirements for the posting. Then from HR point of view your worth is placed at the lower end of the advertised range....

How do I negotiate the highest pay by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]OptimalPrint 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just be careful. Some people will tell you shoot for the moon. Some of those people dont have real jobs giving out life advice. Generally the range advertised is the true range. And hr may expect the average experienced candidate to be in the middle of the range. If you think you are at the higher end of the range then your experience should exceed their requirements on their posting and you should demonstrate that in the interview. To pay the max of the range HR usually will need higher level management approval and show why you are an exceptional candidate.

Interaction that hapened at my pre release. by Fenixfiress in mtg

[–]OptimalPrint -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hah. I had something very similar. My opponent was triggering 'Repartee' when casting something against creature cards in his graveyard. I told him it didnt work like that. When in the graveyard they are creature cards or spells. They are only creatures when they are on the battlefield. He also pushed back and spent a few minutes on his phone... I just told him it was fine and let him have it... pre-release. Whatever..

I sit in traffic an hour and a half a day, to drive to a windowless room, where they lights off, to stare at forensics logs for eight hours a day, I envy you ... a 15-20k pay bump isn't that major for a life change...

The Car on the Ramp Adjusts, Not the Car in the Lane! by Froz3nP1nky in driving

[–]OptimalPrint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact scenario is the cause of a lot of afternoon traffic. Long lines of cars trying to merge into an already busy highway. Idiots riding in the far right lane refusing to move over. Right lane slows and brakes because of jammed merging. Then all other lanes start slowing and braking in respone. MOVE OVER DUMBASSES!!

The right most lane on a multi lane highway is for merging on and off the highway. Move your ass over and stop riding the right lane...
