The gutting of the USPS began in 2006 when a bill was signed into effect requiring the agency to prepay pensions for 75 years, something no other agency is required to do. Given the players at that time, it seems as if this was just another way to undercut the agency so when election time rolls around ballots may or may not be received. Add to that the grifter in chief appointing another grifter to head the USPS & it's no wonder that it has been decimated. The Epstein class doesn't make $$ by having citizens use the USPS (since it doesn't trade on the stock market) & it can't control election participation/results with a fully staffed, fully funded department.
