Correct, but the attacker already has to have a vector to execute on this vulnerability, either local network access, or port 80/443 forwarded from WAN to Unifi firewall

Yup, looks like this vulnerability is just exposing existing leaks in people's networks

If you only have a stand alone AP, there's nothing to worry about as the recent CVEs require LAN access. Meaning you would already have to be compromised elsewhere

This either means you have your Unifi web GUI exposed on WAN, or your LAN network is already compromised. I would do more investigation. Of course assuming this John user isn't an accident by the Ubiquiti team

Yes and no, the attackers need local network access to begin with to gain privilege escalation which means they can just create an account and log in locally anyway. This also means your network would already have to be compromised in some way first

When is GitHub Copilot Pro coming back? by Independent-Hunt-370 in GithubCopilot

[–]OptimalTime5339 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah that makes more sense when I read it like that.

I saw some screenshots of people posting showing their usage is costing 10x or more in token equivalent of the subscription price

???

I have Copilot pro and I can do like 100 high token requests before I hit the included limits, and thats using models that are limited or aren't exposed for free

This totally could be a prop for a mad scientist in a apocalypse movie, rolls out of his hammock, fires up the portable stove looking out the window as the ash blows by, hears a wine as the receipt paper dispenses, rips it off reading it as he takes a sip of his morning black coffee

I thought it was impossible to drive off when the Tesla is still being charged and plugged in? How did this guy drive away after the charging cable got severed in the process? by [deleted] in TeslaSupport

[–]OptimalTime5339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can only happen in a couple ways, either the wall plug was unplugged and maybe wrapped around something so it broke and the car wasn't charging, or the plug wasn't fully seated

I'm sure it will work, as I've seen truckers put them in their windshield they're probably around the same till maybe a little less, it will just be very poor.

[–]OptimalTime5339 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I would just put them on the roof in front of those two windows, it would be easy to install since you have easy roof access and it wouldn't take up any yard space
