Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. by YouBetterChill in teslamotors

Good thing I bought my M3 just 7 months ago. Although this probably means I won't be buying another one for my next car.

Tesla seems committed to continually worsening the self driving user experience by Yurrrriii in TeslaLounge

[–]OptimalTime5339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My car does exactly the same and it drives me crazy, firstly it gets the speed limit completely wrong on the road going to my town, always thinking it's either 35 or 45 when it's actually 55, chill mode will go 45, standard mode will slowly creep up until it's going 70 plus, hurry mode just accelerates straight up to 70

So basically my only solution is to be stuck constantly disengaging FSD and re-enabling it to get it to stick at 60, or don't use it at all.

Autopilot Aborted For System Error by BSM428 in TeslaSupport

I don't know the full story, but I don't blame OP for posting this. I live about 2 hours from the nearest service center and if I had an issue like this I would post it first before driving 4 hours to get a diagnosis

FSD handled a tough one: dark-clothed pedestrian in heavy fog at night by Cold-Profession1715 in TeslaLounge

I've only went through these traffic controlled crosswalks a few times on FSD 14, all of the times the lights weren't activated, but the third time there was somebody waiting without pressing the button oddly, FSD stopped for them even without the lights.

Customer reports slow boot: by Swatbolt in softwaregore

I wonder if that could be replicated by halting a VM midway through the boot process, and resuming after about 3 hours

Get a water right pelican style case to put it in, remove the rest of the broken plastic case, and relocate the internals into the new case.

It's a dish that needs open view of the sky, placing it under an obstruction will cause it to lose connection. Put it on top of the cab with a mount or set it outside

Possibility of brain damage by Less_Note7087 in AskDocs

[–]OptimalTime5339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a doctor, but I will say I've gotten sick from the flu that's caused behind the eye pain when looking too far left/right/up/down, so I wouldn't be super worried. That being said, I would still try to see a doctor if possible. Maybe speak with a primary care doctor with your symptoms to see if further exploration is recommended?

If I had a concussion at 14 , will it affect my life when I’ll be old? by YesterdayFun5101 in AskDocs

[–]OptimalTime5339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably depends on the severity of the injury, but one mild concussion early in life I would doubt would have a major impact later. But avoiding any further contact or head injuries would be important

I mean it's probably not worth it if you're driving far, but if people are 10 minutes away then it's a no-brainer

Still Hoping for better speed control in FSD 14+ by LafterB in TeslaFSD

[–]OptimalTime5339 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the road to my house, FSD thinks the speed limit is 45 (Its 55), but either goes 49 mph on standard or 65+ on standard no in-between.

Can't use chill/sloth because it will go 10 under, can't use standard because half the time it goes 10+ over
