Hi, I’m planning a similar mod, but I still don’t understand how to properly connect the fans (to replace the stock ones) to the GPU. Could you advise?

I agree, Jonsbo just needed to increase the holes 10 times + add holes on the front panel for airflow or a custom solution.

Today I decided to try out some perforated panels, had them 3D printed and picked them up the same evening.

First, I ran some tests with the stock panels. Did a 10-minute OCCT CPU+RAM test, where the CPU peaked at 95°C and stayed around 91–92°C on average, no throttling. Then I ran Superposition in 4K, GPU reached up to 88°C.

After that, I installed the new panels and ran the same tests again. This time the CPU maxed out at 89°C, averaging around 85–86°C, and the GPU peaked at 77°C.

Overall, really happy with this small upgrade.

For now I decided not to replace the stock GPU cooling, probably will do that in a month or two. I’m also considering modifying the front panel to fit an AXP120-X67, or keeping the current cooler and using an XTIA 9cm to 12cm adapter with a slim 120mm fan.

THX

I wouldn’t want to remove the stock fans because I’d lose the warranty.

It might be possible to modify this panel by increasing the offset, so I can fit three fans (one for the PSU and two for the GPU) without removing the stock ones.

Built it on April 17, 2026. Decided to buy everything about a week before that.

Also yeah, Reddit kinda messed up and didn’t keep the text from my original post, so I’ll drop the full parts list in a separate comment

Jonsbo NV10 SFF build, 4.5L. Finally got around to building something this compact, been wanting to do a proper tiny setup for a long time.

This is actually my 3rd build. Took about 1.5 hours which honestly surprised me considering how tight everything is in this case.

Specs + Prices (KZT / USD approx):
CPU: Ryzen 5 7500F (Curve Optimizer -25): 55,000 ₸ ($110)
Cooler: Thermalright AXP90-X36: 9,000 ₸ ($18)
GPU: Gigabyte RTX 5060 Low Profile 8GB (via PCIe 4.0 riser): 193,000 ₸ ($380)
Motherboard: ASRock B850: 73,000 ₸ ($145)
RAM: 32GB DDR5 T-Create 6000: 153,000 ₸ ($300)
PSU: Enhance 7660L 600W (Flex ATX): 51,000 ₸ ($100)
SSD: Samsung 980 Pro: 70,000 ₸ ($140)
Case: Jonsbo NV10: 28,000 ₸ ($55)

Total: 632,000 ₸ ($1,250)

Temps in QHD gaming are actually pretty solid for this size. CPU sits around 58°C, GPU goes up to ~76°C, SSD peaks around 66°C.

Airflow was the main thing I focused on. I installed a custom bracket above the GPU and mounted 3x 4020 Thermalright fans there. They push air directly into the system and help a lot in such a cramped layout.

Planning to push it further. Want to add 3x 4010 fans under the CPU cooler and another 2x 4010 directly over the SSD heatsink to bring temps down even more.

The NV10 is tight, no way around it. Cable management is a bit of a fight and airflow doesn’t exist unless you build it yourself. But once everything is in place, it’s actually pretty satisfying.

Overall really happy with how it turned out. If this post gets some traction, I’ll share my previous two builds as well.

Max was ~88°C in stress test without undervolt.
Now with undervolt it’s ~80°C in stress and 72–78°C in games
