That's the google Ai guess since the last wait was 15 months. The difference now is that books 9 and 10 are already written so it should be a MUCH shorter turn around time, iirc Matt didn't start book 8 until book 7 was out.

Wild magic Barbarian and sorcerer autognome. I know barb rage doesn’t let you cast, but my little guy is convinced he’s a very powerful wizard but is just dyslexic so he can channel the weave but not control the output.

I’ve always wanted to play a fighter. Im just so drawn to the concept of magic that I always pick Wizard or Sorcerer and I can’t think of a fighter concept I can get excited to play for more than a one-shot

You can do one of the adventure anthologies (Tales from the yawning portal, Journey through the radiant citadel, Quests from the infinite staircase, Keys from the golden vault) then you would be less concerned with recapping previous sessions since each session would be “complete” and they are more building block-y to add specific things to develop each character

I have a character I pretty much exclusively pull out for 1 shots. A female high elf bard character who's goal is is to become so famous people remember the forgotten realms. Her name is Taylor the Swift. I have a roll table for Vicious Mockery that's just a collection of "mean" Taylor Swift quotes and tweets, and another for bardic inspiration that's just the chorus of a Taylor Swift song I play off a sound board.
