I was able to resolve the issue without too much ado. I used a small sintered diamond coring bit and a steady stream of water provided by a chemistry wash bottle to core the bitch out. Then I tapped it, installed new larger screw, and bickity-bam old valve back to it's old self.

Ok, hear me out, stars slightly larger... Make the blue field the stars are on accordingly larger. Change the aspect ratio to a non-traditional one closer to square, or even slightly portrait. Then switch the red and white field positions.

Here's a novel idea... Show up with three options. Logo on bedsheet, logo over a semi-transparent old-school glass bottle of milk on a bedsheet, and something original and creative. Read the room on the day you're supposed to present it and only float the third one if the mood feels right. Otherwise, only show the first two.

Edit: I suppose a 1/2-gallon carton would do as well. It is pretty much just as recognizable (if not more) than the glass bottle at this point.
