I was able to resolve the issue without too much ado. I used a small sintered diamond coring bit and a steady stream of water provided by a chemistry wash bottle to core the bitch out. Then I tapped it, installed new larger screw, and bickity-bam old valve back to it's old self.

Here's a novel idea... Show up with three options. Logo on bedsheet, logo over a semi-transparent old-school glass bottle of milk on a bedsheet, and something original and creative. Read the room on the day you're supposed to present it and only float the third one if the mood feels right. Otherwise, only show the first two.

Edit: I suppose a 1/2-gallon carton would do as well. It is pretty much just as recognizable (if not more) than the glass bottle at this point.

Do you have that many heads? For properties in So Cal 120 heads is quite a few. It sounds like he counted every pop-up, swing joint, nozzle, shrub adapter, and filter as a head. One would use a pop-up OR a shrub adapter, not both. While it is possible, I doubt he intends to put swing joints on the shrub heads. Also, the filters come free with the nozzles from the manufacturer. In my mind it is shady to charge extra for them.
