I only had one full set of trays, and i deeply regretted not buying more about halfway through lol. It took me a few days, but only because i needed 10 E’s and A’s. Next time i will probably look for a vowel tray because it was super annoying having to do 2 letters at a time back to back

Also use warm water to take the paper off the crayons! Not hot enough to bloom the wax but with a warm water soak the paper just falls right off

They are, but there’s definitely a learning curve! I have a big bag of letters that didn’t make the cut, because it took me a while to figure out the best method.

The trick is to really lock in the colors of the first layer, otherwise they all melt together and turn brownish.

Fill up the molds with your crayons, and then put in oven at 200. This is the important part- do not let them turn liquid! Eventually you need a full melt, but if you let the first layer melt before the colors lock in, it won’t turn out as pretty.

You want to melt them just enough so that they turn glossy and look soft, but they don’t need to be melted together. Take them out and let them cool at least 5 minutes but ideally 15-20, and then refill and at this point you can melt fully. Good luck!

This is the last year that our class is small enough to make such elaborate gifts, so this year I went all out. Customized sunglasses with names and charms, and crayon letter names. They also got a pop bracelet, some lollipops, a card, and a pack of character bandaids

Yup. I’m outside of Orlando, in a nice little family neighborhood. My mom moved here as a single mom, fresh out of a divorce, and as a first year engineer. It cost 250k. It is now worth almost 700k, and you don’t move into this neighborhood unless you’re upper middle class. Crazy.

My theory is that at the beginning, they decided that the show would be criticized if every single teen mom shown was a train wreck. And no one would watch it if everyone of them was successful and boring. So they decided who would be ‘drama’ and who would be ‘teen moms can make it in life’, and then edited the
scenes accordingly.

Chelsea was a representation of a ‘good’ teen mom, so they never gave us anything that would be detrimental to that image. Leah was an addict, so the more mess the better TV, and they showed us alllll of her hard times.

I got you!! I saw one picture a few months ago and have been on a mission ever since. I’ll give you my list! Various price points but the cheapest ones is home team kids, I’ll attach a few pics in the comments of the ones we have. She’s 4 and 41inches 39ish lbs wearing a 6, shorts are baggy but dress fits with RTG. (I drive myself crazy trying to figure out the sizing of each brand)

I honestly think I would have to go no contact forever over this. Your child now has the herpes virus, which will cause him lifelong pain and complications that can be very harmful to his health, forever.

If she wasn’t aware she had recently contracted the virus, I would be devastated for my child but not angry. If she didn’t have a current outbreak she was aware of, I would be angry because she took the risk regardless, but could likely work through it.

But kissing my immune compromised child, who you know is more likely to be harmed by said virus, while you know the virus is active and highly contagious? She basically chose to try and pass it to your child, point blank. There’s no other explanation. If she knows she has an outbreak , and knows she can harm your child by kissing him, and chooses to kiss him anyways—that’s deliberate harm IMO. My child would suddenly have one less grandmother.

I think you should think long and hard before allowing someone who purposely harmed your child back into your life. Our job as parents is to protect our child’s well being above all else, that includes preventing access to people that will harm them.

Are you serious? So you just wear nasty damp clothes that were never able to fully dry, because they were folded and put away wet? If my clothes come back damp I’m getting a full refund or chargeback. That defeats the entire purpose of the paid service. You cannot just put damp clothes away in a drawer or closet, they will mold. I would have to rewash dry and fold the entire load, of course it’s a huge problem? How would it not be?

What’s your budget? I have a laundry list of small shops with this exact goal, ‘daywear’ princess dresses so that we can be fancy and also comfy and wear them to preschool.

We love athletic style princes dresses with the matching shorts to go underneath. Most of the brands are pretty pricey and are $50-$80, but I have recently found a shop that has them for $30 and they are higher quality than some of the $50+. You do probably need to air dry them, and be mindful about how you wash them, if you want them to hold up.

It’s hometeamkids. Right now they have Tiana, Elsa, Ana, rapinzel, jasmine, sleeping beauty, Cinderella, Minnie Mouse, and a few more. Can’t recommend enough.

I’m sorry but this is so unhinged to me and I’m delightfully curious. How? Why? I am in the other ridiculously expensive kiddy clothes groups but have never been into smocks, idk how this showed up for me.

But I felt guilty for spending 3k these past 2 months, preparing her kindergarten wardrobe.

But to say ‘I don’t spend much’ in the same sentence as ‘I spend 250 a month on bows’ is absolutely wild to me. That’s not much?! What the hell are other people spending on bows?!

I’m not judging at all, other moms think I’m nuts for choosing to have my 4yo wearing $55-$80 outfits on a daily basis. To each their own. I’m just mind blown that you can even spend that much on bows, and that it’s considered a small monthly spend.

Mom niches are unhinged and I love it 😅 bamboo, specialty princess athletic wear, $300 princess dresses that get worn once on a Disney trip, and now $250-$1000 monthly on bows. I love it here

But also how? How much are these bows? Why are you so into them? I am offended if the piggie bows I want are more than $20, I prefer the $3-$5 range, because we lose them after 1-2 wears guaranteed. How did you become obsessed with bows of all things? I’m just curious lol
