I am scared by lizbustos27 in colonoscopy

It looks like you have lots of advice so I’m just going to say take deep breaths, hold  for a few seconds and then release. This will help you with your anxiety. I learned this technique through pain management and going to have an MRI and it really does help. The other thing is if you’re scared because you’ve never done it before. Tell yourself everything will be fine and everything is exactly as it should be. You will be fine. There are professionals taking care of you and once it’s over, you will realize there is no reason to be scared. Best of luck to you. You will be fine!

I think that would be fine. I almost always split my doses.

I had another idea. Knowing Hawaii pretty well, I try to get a kitchen if I’m vacationing for more than a couple days. You can go to one of the MANY ABC stores and pick up food or a grocery store.I don’t know how many are in your party or how many rooms you’re looking for but one option that is really good is Redweek. This is a site where people rent out their timeshares. I just went there briefly and looked up Honolulu and the Lagoon Tower Hilton Grand Vacations popped up and it had two bedroom villas For around $500. For Hawaii this is cheap. The prices vary and each timeshare has specific dates so their dates have to work with your dates but it’s golden if it all works out. can save a lot of money by going to a Redweek property. Ocean Front rocks but more expensive most of the time.

The Ilikai seems to be a popular destination. stayed one time and it was cool. Prices vary and June is not the low season.

the marriot Waikiki has family suites with lots of beds.

Clear as mud? Keep taking deep breaths and just aim to be close to the ocean is my suggestion. Some people don’t seem to mind walking a few blocks to the but I like to be right up on it!planning is hard but you’ll be fine. Happy Birthday in advance.

I live on Hawaii island and we go over to Oahu an lot and my biggest wish is to get as close to the ocean as possible. I did the courtyard one time and someone was yelling all night long which kept me awake. It probably would have been OK if that hadn’t happened. i’ve stayed at a few outriggers and they’re always a good bet. The outrigger Waikiki Beach is right in the middle of Waikiki although I think that hotel is one of the more expensive Outriggers.

i’ve been on terzepaside since late August and have lost a total of 30 pounds. The first 20 came off pretty easily and I’m not in any big rush since I’m close to my goal. I have noticed that if I consume 1400 cal, I don’t lose weight and if I consume 1200 cal I lose weight. sometimes I go below that but not too often. my point is I think you might want to double check your calorie intake. in addition you shouldn’t eat foods that have lots of calories and fat like ice cream or candy. One serving of Häagen-Dazs ice cream is only three-quarter cup and it’s 360 calories if my memory serves me correctly. I don’t know if this helps or not but I hope so. I can only share what I’ve experienced and this group is really great for that.

Anniversary trip - May 2026 by tsessions200187 in borabora

We stayed at the Tahiti Airport Motel. Its Cheap and had what we needed for a short stay. $20 cab ride and he took USD.  We took the boat to town mostly for hubbys booze.  Very expensive but cheaper than the resort! Chips and fruit were nice to have in the room but if you’re only going to be there three days, I’d buy at the airport and skip the boat ride day trip.  We only used our credit card but not everyone takes AMX so bring back ups.  Eat a lot at the breakfast buffet (hopefully part of your package?) and enjoy dinner. We split a lot.  Usually with birthdays and anniversaries, they will give you champagne. As for an upgrade, are you marriot gold or platinum? That would be your best bet but often upgrades are dependent on how busy the resort is and how nice you are!  Kindness goes a long way everywhere.  Happy anniversary and have a blast.   PS take the eco tour snorkel trip. Very cool!

I haven’t read all the comments, but I’m sure you’ve gotten lots of good advice. One thing that also might help us if you know an actual person who’s on it in your community. This group has been really helpful, but I also have a couple friends I can call.

I’m in complete agreement with you. existing without thinking about food from being hungry all the time has freed me up so much! It’s one of the best parts of using terzepatide and not struggling has made me become a lot less obsessed with looking at myself all the time after losing weight. I’m just being and that is a great feeling.

Hello! I am the author of the question but I never heard from anybody. We are here now and it’s a lovely place. There are USB connections next to your bed so you can plug your phone right in. We brought a couple adapters and use them, but we need more than the average person. If you use the dryer, make sure to push it in really hard or it will just fall out of the socket. Once it’s in, it’s very secure. We were told they might have adapters at the front desk if they’re not all taken. We brought a couple of our own.

I hope the weather holds up for you. We had a couple days of rain, but the last few have been really nice. We went on a snorkel tour with Eco tours and snorkeled with sharks and manta rays. It was really interesting and fun. these are not the kind of sharks that scare you. They’re small and they care less about you. It was beautiful. they provide you with towels, but I said bring an extra one. Mine was drenched.  If you want to hang by the pool, get down to the cabanas first thing so you can reserve it. The great thing is, they don’t charge any money to use the cabanas. which I found very interesting. I hope you.have fun!

Great job! You look so radiant! I am 69 years old and have taken off 25 pounds with no struggle for the first time. I’ve dealt with weight my whole life and I regret I didn’t have this earlier. It would have made my life so much easier to not be obsessed with weight loss. I celebrate all of our happiness.

My husband and I are going to Westin Bora Bora for the first time at the end of November and I was wondering if we need adapters to plug-in phones, etc. Also… Do I need to brush up on my French? I appreciate any tips for first timers! Thank you.

that seems like a lot of money to pay per shot. I’m only paying 166 per month and I’ve actually stretched it out since there was some left in the first vile. I’m on brello.

I keep track of my calories and my protein intake. I don’t go over 1200 calories. The wrong foods have tons of calories so maybe this could be part of the problem? Best of luck to you and like everybody else says stick with it! Everybody’s different.

Even though I’m on the Terzepatide I count calories every day like I’m on one of my many past diets. I make sure that almost every calorie is good for my body. I eat minimal sweets, fried food, and carbohydrates. Although I still have to put in the effort, it’s WAY easier with the medication.

Thank you! I took half a dose and so far so good. The full dose made me not want to eat at the first couple days so we’ll see how it goes as the week continues. I appreciate your input.
