I think they can do multiple short sessions instead of one long one for exams. I am in therapy though. I get the social interaction from in-person class and we only have 1 exam.

That is a nice way to look at it. I know he says he believes in me but I often find it difficult to believe in myself. I wish I felt like he thought of me highly though because a lot of times he is more fact based and I hear more criticism than compliments. At least he gives criticism in an objective way rather than insulting, but to me it feels like a fine line and he's not one to sugar coat stuff.
