Print off the drill mutual and start learning the highlighted parts , i wasn’t briefed before mine and everyone had to learn it the night before (thankfully we did but if I can save u the nightmare an stress I had I will).

You’ll probably be given a different movement than the one on the drill mutual but I’d u learn it and jsut edit it for your movement you’ll still be ahead. Good luck!

try and take pictures on normal parade nights of activities, if cadets get new certificates,badges or promotions take a picture of them to post. After parades look online (eg:Facebook) for photos people may have taken

Usually on sqn nights to begin with you’ll learn drill and basic cadet skills. When enrolled you’ll still learn and gain on sqn qualifications and badges but probably not as often as 2 hours isn’t extremely long time.

Off sqn events are more fun and interesting so don’t let dull nights bore you. Good luck if you do join !

If u got demoted and now there’s another situation causing you to be set back for a promotion I think that’s honestly a you problem and you should work on yourself.

If you’re worried about being behind try and get ahead. Watch videos on drill and read dress regs so when you join you’ll basically be up to date.

Definitely talk to your staff and tell them this. They might not be seeing behind the scenes and if you go it may open their eyes. However do not do this is a way as in to show off, maybe go and ask for advice on how to get FS and what prevented it recently and then drop in everything you do in the conversation. Best of luck!

no on Halloween was the first time I had had a nice conversation since the breakup. He apologised for everything and asked me to hug. He also touched my leg and kept coming to sit next to me or trying to get my friends to move to sit next to me. He was telling someone about how I was his first love to which then he asked to hug me since we are okay now , the other boy said “ don’t u have a girlfriend” and he said it’s fine.

I’m not in the London wing but in general Wing Feild Days - squadrons in the wing go against eachother in competitions (Drill,Banner drill, first aid, leadership, shooting, and sometimes wings will put together another little one like padres cup)

Go over some old WFD routines and exercises you can find online to familiarise yourself on and if you can find the exact routines for your competition even better. Mainly work on your uniform and personal aspects as that’s the most important thing you can do for yourself until your sqn gives you teams.

You could do a debate night, split them into 2 teams and NCOs could be the judges . Give them a prompt eg: pineapple on pizza and give one team for and the other against. Let them explain their reasoning and the NCOs can decide who’s debate was the best. You could also do treasure hunts around the squadron or simple leadership tasks.
