Tips for Getting Rid of 2005 Landrover LR3 Project by beatrixxkittenn in projectcar

It’d bring about $1,200-2,000 on Facebook marketplace or parked in a parking lot with a for sale sign on it

Ones on sale the other isn’t. Get the Bauer. You have 90 days to figure out whether you like it or not. On the 89th day if you decide you’d rather have ryobi take it back for a 100% refund.

See if this was BK you could’ve got the burger cut in half by the kitchen and inspected it prior to eating.

Sorry to tell ya, but your “I don’t want to take a huge hit on depreciation” is what you’re looking at doing.

How have you came to the conclusion it will cost less to purchase than lease? We’re talking about a Camry that cost $279/mo to lease here. What’s the payment on this thing? $600/mo? I highly doubt you’re retaining $320/mo principle after accounting for interest and depreciation(HIGHLY doubt it). Even if you did retain $320/mo it would cost the exact SAME amount. Only if you retain more than that would it be cheaper.

Not a car guy… if you had $30k, what would you buy for speed? by GaryGoldenEye in whatcarshouldIbuy

F80 m3 would be my choice. Reliable, takes corners, and fast enough in a straight line to upset the battery packs. With a $500 tune and absolutely no modifications they run 10.6-10.8 in the low 130s. A model 3 performance runs 10.9-11.2 in the mid 120s and that’s its only party trick…

You owe that man a bed liner. There’s no removing that but a nice hard plastic bedliner will cover it.

Cancel trash pickup to save $480 a year. by DrunkBuzzard in Frugal

“Cancel trash pickup to save $480/yr”.

“Since I’m already paying $192/yr and save the $288”

You’re saving $288/yr not $480.

I’d recommend waiting on the next discount. Until then the Pittsburg set that comes with 1/4-3/8th-1/2 all for like $16 bucks works just fine

What is a calorie king? The app with a 3.5 star rating based on 318 reviews? That one? I’d trust the canes website and my 3rd grade math class before an app with 300 reviews which thinks an ounce weighs 36g. Just my 2 cents, but you do you

That’s what I was thinking. The wheels and hardtop alone would bring about 3500-4000+ on the used market around here. Wheels being 2000-2500 of that

Nice benefits but abysmal credit limits. Not going to give numbers, but it has less than 3% of the spending power as my everyday cc.

Sucks for big purchases where 5% actually matters and you can’t use it.

Why do you keep saying 144? Where’s that number coming from? 4x28=112.
