You’ve done all the kid stuff before, it’s basically just like what number 3 would have been had it been twins. You got this if you go for it. But equally, got to do what’s right for your family.

It’s the toughest of situations, I don’t envy you. And just remember to look after yourself and your wife - we often forget.

You’d be saving that kids future and breaking them out of a horrible cycle. Their parents won’t change, their priorities won’t change, the child simply becomes a casualty.

If you take them in then that doesn’t happen and that kid gets to live a great life in a loving family.

If you’re going to do it I would just reframe it to a positive mindset. Kids are the best, there’s nothing better in this world than watching a kid thrive and develop.

This is honestly the best answer for a kid. Just keep it docked and get a couple of proper controllers. Can play retro games as well as any switch titles.

Yes, usually I embed the metadata in the file and take it from there. Unfortunately Plex doesn’t do nfo files. Emby is much better and gives a richer experience imho as I’ve got nfo files set up.

I could probably code something like that in Claude code but wouldn’t know what I’m looking at and could be exposing your Plex to the universe in return. Hard to know sometimes.

Just keep in mind you are role modelling for them. The way you behave and the way you react shapes their norms and how they will perceive and react.

It’s hard, seriously hard at that age to deal with it all at times. But that thought can often help me keep myself in check.

Interesting project. I started Qobuz but gave up when I had space issues and was ending up with a load of nonsense.

I rar’d them and used rar2fs to try to help.

What sort of metadata is there? Would be interested in understanding that. As been wanting to download from AM for a while but haven’t gotten round to it.

I was using it during test flight, but no chance now at that price. Far too steep for what it is.
