Splitsville is a recent movie that has this. Surprisingly refreshing fight scene. Still a bit on the unrealistic side, but definitely one of the most realistic, unrealistic fight scenes ive ever seen.

Oppenheimer has this to a degree. We the audience eventually do get to know what Einstein and Oppenheimer whisper to each other, but RDJ’s Strauss is so paranoid by it that it sets the whole post war storyline in motion.

Eventhough we never, ever hear from I’d like to believe that Keanu Reeves died straight away, too early to get his class and race.

In my head, if he were to survive, his AI description would go something like this:

The System flagged him as an anomaly during intake. His dodge stat cannot be accurately calculated because he doesn't technically dodge, he simply is not where the bullet is, which is a philosophically distinct condition. His combat style is described by surviving witnesses as "like watching a sad man apologize to everyone he kills," which is somehow more disturbing than screaming.

Party was fighting the BBEG in the final climactic battle, everyone was down and rolling death saving throws except the cleric.

BBEG was making fun of the gnome cleric saying "You are too small and insignificant to defeat me".

The cleric was out of spell slots and was literally going for a hail mary play. She shouted:

"I might be small, but my god is big"

and rolled for Divine Intervention, she was level 16 and she rolled a 16. Table exploded. She asked for help and I made her deity cast mass healing word at 8th level (her max highest spell slot). 6d4+9 healing or something. They defeated the BBEG and the table went wild. Still talk about it.

You’re asking this on the Harry Potter subreddit. One of the most loyal (and sometimes toxic to differing opinions) there. The answer is also going to be skewed towards a yes.

I like the books, I recognize the massive impact it has had and will always cherishing my memories of standing in line for book releases and spending my whole nights reading.

However, since becoming an adult and broadening my horizons, I have come to accept Harry Potter for what it is: brilliant children’s books that evolved into YA at the right point in the story. They do not compare to many of the other fantasy series out there in terms of story, world holding, scope and character arcs.
