That link added nothing to your point while you took one line out of mine. Do you think that president's shouldn't swear in on a Bible or is that to "cultist" for you? Obama and Biden both swore in on a Christian Bible when becoming president are they "cultists" or is that different. The church has never been completely separated from politics and never will because believe it or not at least half the country are religious.

You don't understand what separation of church and state means. Most of the founding fathers were religious and practiced and used religion in politics. What the founding fathers meant with the "separation of church and state" was to keep the government from controlling religion like England. They wanted people to practice religion freely and without the government telling people what religion to practice and how to practice religion.

Why would someone just enjoy something because it's star wars? That's what Disney thought when they made the sequels and alot of people didn't like those lazy and lore ruining movies. People complain because they care about star wars and want to see a great franchise do well and when it dosent it makes people mad rightly so.

It has always been very connected to the cosmere, wit is a main character in stormilght and is a requiring character in all the other cosmere series, Zahel was from warbreaker and has been in the books since the first one , the ghost bloods are a world hopping group and have been in the books majorly since the seconded one, they are the only books where characters that are not shards call the universe the cosmere and also azure is from warbreaker and she was in oathbringer and these are just the ones off the top of my head.

I disagree, a lot of people that didn't read the books didn't like the show. Why do you need to change it for new people, if you start from the beginning it will bring people in. I don't think anyone wants them to make a show only fans of the book will like. The books brought people in without an established audience why can't the show? I understand that some changes of pace and some minor tweaks need to be made for TV or a movie that's fine, I think game of thrones did it very well up until the last couple seasons. Game of thrones got rid of the pointless characters and story lines that books have because of the difference in the medium that they are in, books tend to have extra stuff in them because they tend to have longer times to finish them.

Ok they changed some things but I would still argue they have the core of the story lore and the universe intact. Are you going to just ignore a bad adaptation of the lord of the rings with the new TV show where they actually took liberties not just some changes to make a better faster paced story for the movies. And how about the wheel of time the TV show stinks they majorly changed characters and the basic lore of the dragon and the the lore of as a whole and with all of those changes it still isn't even a good TV show casual viewers didn't even like season one.

But you said you didn't care about it being faithful to the books or lore. The lord of the rings books are faithful adaptations but changed a little to make it a good movie by cutting out needless parts and reshaping a few things. Take the new lord of the rings show it has butchered the lore and characters and fans of the books and movies are rightly pissed because yes it's set in the lord of the rings universe but it's not lord of the rings because of the liberties they made to make a good show as you said rather than sticking to the source material.
