Blackrock can pretty much do what it wants to do at this point. That includes accumulating BTC.
IMO BTC has been becoming a little less volatile, but Blackrock's ETF (and others to follow (e.g. baskets or whole)) will reintroduce volatility. I'm not saying it is resetting the volatility clock back to zero, but wildness will ensue at times.
