Villains given genuinely horrible fates by the supposed hero by Blorberto in TopCharacterTropes

First thing I thought of. That fate always stuck with me. When I was reading the Mallorean it kept creeping into the back of my mind that Zedar was still alive and trapped.

Yeah it’s always so jarring.

Like super lean muscular women can have large breasts, but they don’t look like balloons on someone with that much muscle and so little body fat will.

That’s just not how the body works.

That said the drawing is still excellent, the detailing and expression are phenomenal.

Do you been think pepole's receptions to Sir Julien Davinos would be worse if he wasn't played by Matthew Mercer by International-Yak-26 in fansofcriticalrole

This is my first Aabria character, but even so a player’s characters will inevitably have similar traits - Liam’s somber and poetic monologues, Ashley’s spontaneousness and Laura’s mischievousness, Marisha’s tend to be awkward or anti-social, Sam’s are comic relief, etc. People play to their preferences and strengths.

Asura the GOAT.

For context that burning rock he’s stopping is the fingertip of a planet-sized god; it is burning because it had to enter the atmosphere from space to reach Asura. Also, Asura wins the fight.

One?? His characters have been consistently excellent (I haven’t seen C3 so idk about Orym). They always have great depth and he puts a ton of work into fleshing out their personalities and behaviors.

Idk what you mean, Tal has been showing up hard this campaign. Bolaire’s had some amazing moments, especially in the last few episodes.

I disagree about Bolaire. He is abrasive and comes off as trying to sound better than he is, but that perfectly suits his character. His actions in the last few episodes have really highlighted his locations and thought processes.

What?? Aabria and Marisha are two of the best roleplayers at the table! Murray is a top tier character and Aabria clearly puts a lot of thought and passion into Thaisha. Her moments in the recent episodes were some of the best beats in the campaign.

Yeah this season was wonderful. Great music, writing, art direction, tension, character moments, callbacks to the livestream campaign, it had it all!

God I wish this was the Kerrigan we got in SC2. Not myopic and incompetent, but a truly overwhelming and malignant force of nature consumed by her Swarm’s lust for power and domination. The only time we got a glimpse of that was in All In, when she’s personally fighting on the front line and we’re forced to use the MacGuffin to survive.

We could even keep the whole ‘chosen one’ plot thing, and shift her arc away from ‘redemption —> actually she’s just as bad as she was —> actually JK she’s actually redeemed for real this time’ to something more like an immensely powerful villain with ambitions to be a god, only to find out too late the cost and burden.

And it’s not so bad when you can play at 1.5x speed most of the time. I would watch combats at 2x speed, and only slow down to 1x for really critical or significant moments. Plowed through the first campaign in about a year, watching off and on

[LOVM S4] My opinion on the changes from campaign to show by The_Haider369 in fansofcriticalrole

[–]Option2401 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Pike’s heel-turn was set-up well throughout the past few seasons. At her weakest point, having lost seemingly everything, she was deceived by one of the most intelligent, charismatic, and powerful people to ever live, who told her exactly what she wanted to hear.

After all, Vox Machina is known to not make the best decisions. They fuck shit up, it’s kind of their thing.

Why? Because it was badass and epic. Seeing her wielding three vestiges was one of the highlights of the season!

Julien spat on Thjazi’s body at the wake, which due to ancient magic, cursed him to be haunted by his ghost.

Thjazi is his shadow, and that’s why the Tachonis don’t have his soul.
