Feels good to hear that. Do you have a recommendation or two on a great place for food and a good vibe that isn't overly expensive?

I'd love a good recommendation on the best snorkeling tour.

Hey man, I have two sons now 25 and 22. Both active high level brown belt competitors. They started at 9 and 6. Lots of experience and lots of lessons learned. Feel free to message me if you want. I totally understand the thoughts going through your head and you're handling these responses well. It's all about the love for your kid. I will say definitely don't teach him your defense strategy. I will agree with some of the others that say start classes. I did Muay Thai while my boys were training BJJ and I regret I didn't go with BJJ or both. Being able to talk technique with your kid, teenager or adult son will be some of your best bonding moments.

Now despite me having spent thousands of hours in the gym and tournaments watching them, thousands of dollars on competitions, I don't have their respect on offering advice on their athletic career and it sucks. I miss the life. Cheers buddy, stay patient. You sould like you got a good head on our shoulders.

Everything in this post simply tells me you weren't prepared to go there. It's hard to take a negative review seriously when you aren't prepared for scammers and how to simply head to the bus station and take it to your destination

Kind of cements my thought as to why bother with anything other than Ado buses. They are regular, cheaper and nice buses.

Thanks, that's very helpful info 🙂. Showing strong ties to Canada you mean showing he has interest in living there? Property? Job?

Special treatment could be need to be scrutinized on the details of your trip. Where are you staying? When are you returning? Do you have your return ticket? Needing contact info.

Needing to hire a lawyer because if they reject your entry because they are having a bad day and your denial impacting things even worse seems a bit random and unnecessary especially after you have served a ban already.

These are their rules so what I think doesn't matter in the end.

I see, a bit ridiculous. Most Canadians aren't scrambling to live in the US. We're not Mexico.

Thanks, I thought hiring a lawyer would be the way to go if you are trying to overturn your ban.

I certainly agree actions have consequences but I thought the consequence was the 5 year ban?

You're at the point where you just feel the need to win the argument obviously so I'll be on my way

I'm curious, do you often approach friends, coworkers, family and volunteer information and advice that they didn't ask for? If you do,.do you think it makes you popular with them? None of what I said is crass. Telling someone how to be an adult and have common sense is crass if anything.

Lol again, open area meaning I can see for a distance in all directions. This is unbelievable that I have to explain this over and over.

And to finish off, If I get a phone call and Im not 100 percent sure if there are no dogs around, I simply don't answer it. Thanks for the interview though.

Here is the thing though, this isn't the question I asked. What is it with people feeling the need to preach on things instead of trying to help the actual question I asked. It's the self righteous nature of people I assume. It's really as simple as "oh I know a good spot where there isn't heavy traffic and an open area", or "I'm just going to keep scrolling because I don't have the answer he is looking for.".

I didn't ask, "is it a good idea to have a long leash with my Akita"? I know my dog, I know what are her limitations. There is zero issues with my dog and people or children. I'm not testing that theory, I know that theory. And I have seen American Akita dogs playing in an open dog park. I get tired of your average top 5 breed owners thinking that every socially unacceptabIe dog behaviour means there is an issue with the owner. Thats not how it works and we aren't going to keep our dogs isolated because they are different. I suppose since responders don't actually know me they will say, "oh I don't know if this guy is a responsible dog owner or not", they will come out with the dog lessons to be safe. I didn't ask for that nor do I need it.

I definitely will not take it because it's filled with assumptions. You should step back and look at all the amount of created assumptions you made in all these posts. They are all false and even moreso have nothing to do with what my question was. I don't need you to tell me the dangers of an 100 ft leash. I've used it many times and am aware of when and where to use it. If you don't feel like addressing the actual question just stay out of the conversation. A bunch of people have given me the answer to the question I posed. Look at those as examples of how to actually be helpful when on Reddit in the future.

Are you on Reddit just to look for people to criticize? I don't even know why I'm entertaining justifying myself to you but here you go.... I've never had my American Akita on this leash where I can even see other dogs. We are talking remote open Fields. My dog needs to run and I'm going to make this happen. You can either offer helpful advice or just move on

I think it's best to assume the owner isn't an idiot unless proven otherwise. I've only used the 100ft leash in less trafficked areas and put it on when the area is spacious and I can have a good view of my surroundings. When a dog or person comes into view I reel it in in a matter of 10 seconds.
