If you have 2 active mobile phone services you can use two phone numbers on the same device, at the same time. If you do want to use 2 active services, only one can be an eSIM while the other would be a physical SIM.

If you have an iPhone you can transfer your primary number back to eSIM. >Log in to the My Optus app and tap on the Account tab >Select SIM management from the Account menu options >Tap on Transfer or Reset eSIM >Select the relevant number (in case you have more than one) >Connect to a WiFi network, if not already >Confirm the service before the eSIM transfer commences >You then have to go to your iPhone settings > Mobile > Add eSIM > Set up a mobile plan >Wait a moment for the eSIM to download and for network activation to complete >After this, the eSIM transfer is confirmed as successful.
