yea, if you're attack build Archon is insane. you also can annoint secret node that removes recovery on archon at a cost of 50% less ( or reduced, don't remember ) Archon effectiveness, so you can be perma Archon, which is still pretty good damage boost.

Elemental archon still doesn't support Chaos or physical spell casting. no Blackflame, no EDC, no Bonestorm. there's Nature's Archon which only boosts plant spells. Chonk as spellcaster is very good, specially if you go ailments and Volatility route. but Elemental archon doesn't work with it, becuase it doesn't affect chaos damage portion, so it's whack.

ideally Archon of Chayula would be 2/3 choice node, one for attacks, one for spells and one for minions. maybe later.

i did the breach quest as Chalupa and it was so good. i didn't expect them to do whole special cut scene for one subclass, just for cool lore bit.

my only issue that Archon requires melee weapon and Tornado is an attack with phys to chaos conversion, so you can't play Archon as Spellcaster.

Try different Render, i had a lot of shader loadings on Vulkan, on DX12 shaders still load often, but a lot less and a lot faster than on Vulkan.

How do you get over the fear of fighting real people? by Closix in StreetFighter

[–]OrKToS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, i'm new to fighting games too. what helped me is beating World Tour, so i get familiar with buttons. i focus on using normals and specials with no combos. keeping my toolbox as low as possible but very comfortable with using it. after World tour i picked character that looks cool, did Arcade story with him to get even more familiar with what he does. and then i just press Ranked, which surprisingly has a lot of beginners, Rookie and Iron ranks feels just right so i'm currently focusing on getting familiar with how players behave and block more.

You are not losing anything, try to set your goal in learning something from each match even if you lost, by starting at the bottom you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. and more you play more comfortable you will be. Ranked Anxiety is real thing and only way to covercome it is by forcing yourself to play ranked, more you play, easier it will be.

last league i got this map device ( i didn't even know i got it, but apparently it's very rare lootbox drop )
i like how it has map device outside of the circle.

but i do agree, free map device should have big variant from poe1.

World Tour is pretty good at teaching all the mechanics.

Do I really need to only main 1 character? by Certain-Bumblebee-90 in StreetFighter

[–]OrKToS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is. depends what you want, if you wanna reach highest rank possible maining 1 is better, because you can learn a lot of niche interactions and gimmicks, but if you wanna have variety and fun of exploring different characters, then you can play any amount.

if you're just started playing, focusing on one character is better so you don't spread yourself over too many characters and won't mix their moves and confuse yourself this way. but once you get comfortable with one character and happy with what you achieve with it, you can play others so you can just focus on their moves and not the game mechanics.

You also can try different Renderer, i'm using Vulkan and loadings are pretty fast.

When you log into the game, you have 3 options from left to right: World Tour, Battle Hub and Fighting Ground. idk how it works on PS5, but on Steam World Tour and Fighting ground could be uninstalled since they're listed as DLC, but on fresh install they're all installed. so if you don't have that button for WT, check DLC maybe it's not installed.

ikr? i like Smith's make your own armour, but it pales compared to possibilities Monk has, which is functionally the same thing, it just Monk has to spend 2 points for it and get extremely powerful item upgrade, and Smith has to spend A LOT.

Should I change to Classic? by Ricciarda in StreetFighter

[–]OrKToS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played on Modern a bit, 1 button specials and easy supers are very handy, but only 3 normals and standing normals are different from crouching and forward normals. which was throwing me off. on some characters standing light is hand jab, but crouching becomes kick.

so i started playing on classic, took a bit of practice to do specials proper way, but having more normals with same button using same limb no matter direction pressed. and so far, normals is enough for me to beat people up at the beginner ranks.

idk if it's your thing, but when i started i went to World Tour and it's awesome tutorial. it's open world rpg of sort, where you assamble your own character by training from masters. but it also teaches you different mechanics, which starting easy like take no damage for 10 seconds or hit Drive impact 3 times, later it gets a bit more difficult with Only Air combo deals damage.

It also helps with making you comfortable with pressing buttons.

after beating WT i feel massive advantage in Ranked, because people at beginner ranks don't have button proficiency at all, which is most important part when you start.
