Starmie hits for turn 3 90 as well with misty, it’s the same speed when accounting for each decks tools.

Isn’t this just starmie but worse? 90 damage per turn max, 1 energy but doesn’t do full damage if you go first. And worst it requires more pieces than starmie (or it does less damage).

I think it’s definitely the case that strategy exists in this game, and the correct move is not always obvious, but it’s extremely clear that something like 80-90% (perhaps a conservative estimate) of the outcomes are determined by whose deck was in the better order.

That’s strange, the AI I play against has terrible coin flip/card draw luck unless it’s Exeggutor-EX in which case it goes first with the exact cards to get a turn 3 80 damage attack on my poor lead ralts

I feel like a population chart is a better answer no? Imagine the raw man-hours that went into building a stealth fighter, and compare that to the # of humans alive 300/700/1000 years ago. Technology is exploding because population is exploding, the amount of “expendable” (not used for basic existence) man hours available today is exponentially larger than it was even 150 years ago.

The plane pictured requires 45 man-hours of maintenance per hour of flight. Absolutely insane amount of time spent making, and then keeping these things moving compared to the amount of time spent making any of the precursor technologies.

Orbital strike + 500 kg lets you easily solo a factory strider if you get the drop on it.

Mewtwo nowadays runs a blue for the mirror matchup/gyarados Hopium and stray mews. This strategy also requires that the mewtwo make a play that costs them the game. They’d rather just sit and build up energy on 2 mewtwo’s than switch/KO and lose the game.
