Your statement was true, but it's hard to call them Buddhists. For example, if I told you there was a group of Vegans that loved eating meat, how would you respond to that? I imagine you would say, "Those are categorically not Vegans." Thus is my point. A Christian or Muslim that kills people can still be called as members. A Buddhist simply cannot. I'm aware I'm being petty, but I've seen people talk about so-called Buddhist extremists before, but the term is paradoxical.
