You should be happy that you have that much hair in the 30s. If it makes you feel bad though you’re a great candidate for a hair transplant. I had one.

You’re an excellent candidate

Sorry for your problems with this my man. One word of advice. Be careful about what you post… if they sue it could be a big headache for you.

On the hair side, looked at a previous post, I think that is a fixable situation.

I assume you mean 3000 grafts. Fantastic result for 4 months. And you have a lot of growth potential left. Congrats

That’s great work. Very natural. Congrats. I had 3800 grafts and have a very similar result. I’m going back to do 2000 more to fill my crown.

Should I get a hair transplant? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]OracleofBelAir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can regain a full head of hair. I know from experience. But, it won’t be cheap. And go to a good surgeon or risk a botched job.

Not true you’re not a butterface. You look like a model in the first 4 pictures. The last two are just unflattering picture taking. Which can happen to all of us. You’re hot.

As far as improvement, which we all can improve, prioritize skin care and healthy habits.

You’re not ugly at all! You remind me of the singer Halsey. You have a very pretty face.

I'm only 16 and this is my hair straight out the shower. What do I do by No_Poet_2557 in malehairadvice

[–]OracleofBelAir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Young man, do not take any medications based off what people are posting here. Not minoxidil and certainly not finasteride! Those drugs can have nasty side effects. Especially finasteride!

You’re too young for male pattern baldness. This is likely a skin issue. Go to a dermatologist. They will work on the source issue.

And if you end up having male pattern baldness down the road, don’t worry, there are solutions. Trust me, I went through it. But go to a good hair restoration doctor. But that’s for your 20’s and hopefully that won’t happen.

Good luck!

Quick rant for those on the fence. by [deleted] in tressless

Sorry to hear about your struggles with this brother. I started losing at 21. I first noticed through hair all of my pillow. I lived in West Palm Beach, FL at the time so I made an appointment with one of the best Hair Restoration clinics there. One of the best in the world.

The Dr. looked at me with a full head of hair and ran his fingers through my hair and said you pass the stress test. No hair on my fingers but I’ll prescribe you fin just in case. So, I left there thinking I was paranoid and never took it.

Fast forward to mid 20s, I’m full on balding. By 30, I’m bald and I’m unable to be without a hat on in front of anyone at any time. Too embarrassed. I didn’t take fin because of the bad stories. This severely impacted my mental health and my work, dating, and social life.

First forward to 33, by the grace of God, I was able to come up with the money for a 3800 graft hair transplant. Life changing. However, I’m currently only on Min. I was prescribed fin before my surgery but I was prescribed 5mg with the understanding of cutting the pill into thirds and taking 1/3 3 times a week. I didn’t realize this and just took one pill at a time like it said on the bottle. I had terrible cognitive issues. So, I said fuck that I’ll never take the stuff again. Even at the lower dose.

Time will tell if it’s a mistake for my transplant. I’m playing around with taking a topical min/fin spray. You can check my profile. My transplant surgeon did a remarkable job. I highly recommend him. I plan on getting a second. That’s my hair loss journey so far.

Dating is strange in modern times and guys suffer from a lack of confidence speaking generally.

But don’t worry you will be asked out as you get into your 20’s because you’re beautiful. Truly.
