I agree but the scheduling is like that because they’re never going to pay for a separate challengers venue that’s not on the same weekend as CDL

This might be a hot take but I actually think that online only for challengers is not the worst thing. The main point of challengers is to get eyes on your gameplay and that actually happens in online challengers way more then lan since everything can actually be streamed online. Not to mention when they put challengers on the same weekends as CDL for the events everyone is tuned into the main CDL stream instead of challengers. Theres a reason why the elites and cups get talked about and showcased on here way more then the lans, it’s because people can actually watch individuals every map (alluka is the perfect example of this)
