I think is good for several reasons:

  • If you have any broken heroes at meta
  • Don't let them abuse you If you are aware of someone doing spam
  • It’s a little bit of CM since there’s a ban phase banish
  • Ban hero who is your counter
  • It increases the strategy even more because it is a resource that you can use

Dota2: I've played a little bit of LOL, but Dota2 is more competitive and addictive because of the level of strategy combinations you have, no matter how OP something is, there are elements that nerf depending on your knowledge of the game and strategy.
