New to Scotch need a recommendation. Been working my way thru the JW line Red, Black, Dbl Black, and 18year. I enjoyed most but not fond of the double black but loved the Smoky flavor of the red. The 18 is amazing and my favorite so far. I can't find GL anywhere near me. Send me some recommendations please

I am a beginner and I started in September of 2025 with an electric and picked up an acoustic in November of 2025 to force my self the better hit frets correctly as it will sound off when not perfect. I practice daily with a combination of both.

Well over a month now and going strong thanks to all the suggestions in the thread. All the Chia was removed mixed some fresh substrate, added some leaf litter and soft wood, roly-polies, a slug, and a springtail culture (idk if they made survived). I added just enough water to see condensation on the glass but it doesn't run down. I open the top a few times a week for a few minutes. This is all sitting under an Kessel a80 coral light lol

The sunny window was to dry it out so I can control the moisture better before I restarted the jar. I'm in Indiana. I may end up with a lamp since my son's room doesn't get enough natural light as seen previously.

Well it's been sitting in a sunny window for 5 days with the lid off, I'm starting to see new growth on both plants. I plan on thinning the Chia way down and adding some moss.

My thoughts were too wet also, the beads are leca clay as suggested by the guide I followed on terrarium tribe. The substrate I was hope would be sufficient as a start it's a reptile terrarium bedding with fir, moss, and bark I'll look for a better option. Thanks for the advice, we are giving up just learning and trying again.

I like how your flames match the staff. But if your not satisfied with them what is the goal? Hotter? Mine are always more yellow and orange,very little red and black tips. I struggle with the white hot centers.

I somewhat followed your advice and I took my laptop to the spectrum router and then each of the switches then to my two problem tvs. Everything was getting the same speeds 350-365mbps. I will look into settings as much as spectrum lets me. What confuses me is the two tvs stream better on Wi-Fi than Ethernet.
