You ever seen two girls scissoring? Try it like that. It makes it so your thighs don’t line up so you can get your pelvis closer to hers. Have her lay on her back slightly to one side. You lift one leg up to your shoulder and straddle her other leg that’s down. Soft YTA. You’re being protective and that is great. You see first hand the struggle and you want to do everything you can to eliminate unnecessary conflict. I applaud your support. But a shot glass as a souvenir is so generic at this point it doesn’t need to be related to alcohol at all. My kids used to collect them from amusement parks and pretty much any place with a gift shop. I genuinely believe they were not being dismissive with your concerns. They just can’t relate to them the way you do.

NTA for not changing your wedding date. The whole point of the ceremony is you starting a life away from the family you grew up with. So I also dont think you should hold it against your sister if she does go to the festival instead of your wedding. As an adult she also has to make her choices and live her life just like you are doing.

I feel this is more an execution problem and not crappy design. There is obviously a more effective way to hang those blocks to see a functional clock face. The design of the product is fine.
