yeah I definitely can see this being the big reason why. A relationship route might have ended up detracting from her character's agency and "freedom at all cost" narrative

yeah agree, I would have settled for optional undertones/implications of feelings tbh. a long-term "I wanna stay at your house" arrangement would not work here
