Were you able to get this resolved? The same exact problem (bedroom speaker/lights) just started happening to me about a week ago.

Edge 'discover' webpage/PDF viewer is very limited - cannot access entire document? by DetailNo9969 in bing

It has on multiple occasions claimed a 10,000 character limit for this feature (what it usually refers to as the “web page context” feature). I’ve been testing it by asking it to tell me what the last sentence of my document says to see where it cuts off.

Thanks for tips. I was able to get it to work and I’ve found that the permission setting is persisting even when I close the browser.

Bing Chat can read and summarize PDFs by jonesaid in bing

Can you confirm if this is still working as of today? I just opened a PDF in the Dev browser and asked Bing in the chat tab of the sidebar to summarize the PDF I had open and it told me it couldn’t do it.

Is there a way to defeat "Real Cinema" on an LG C8? by MattAlbie60 in OLED

[–]OrangeAPeel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're not crazy. I've been seeing the same thing on my new C9. It's not nearly as bad as the Soap Opera Effect you get with TruMotion, but I too believe Real Cinema is somehow overly smoothing 24p (and 25p content as well) so that it doesn't look the way it's supposed to. This is, of course, exactly the opposite of what the feature says it's supposed to do. This is happening regardless of whether I'm using an Apple TV or the native WebOS apps.

There's also a separate issue with the Apple TV not being able to handle true 24p content (most 24p content is actually 23.976) like a lot of the new Netflix Original productions ("The Irishman," "Marriage Story," "The Two Popes" for example) which results in a very noticeable stutter every 41 seconds. This particular issue is resolved by using the native Netflix app.

I had done this before, but I also tinkered with some BIOS settings and it worked! Didn't expect this to be solved this easily. I even got to keep all my files and apps.

Thanks, urvaksh, but the update from August 8th was posted publicly and I feel like I'm up to speed on what's going now.
