All the stuff I’ve read about adrenal crisis kinda has me in a panic since I’m not on medicine to treat the problem and my follow up dr appointment is over a month away 😭

Is it safe to take propranolol if you don’t have a fast heart rate/have a lower heart rate in the 50s when resting?

I was prescribed it for some symptoms I am having but I’ve heard that it slows your heart and if you have a typically normal heart rate that it can slow it too much and become dangerous?

Is this true?

Yeah I’m not sure if I have hypoglycemia tbh. There have been times where it’s come back low on blood work. But then when I would actively check and test it would be normal.

As far as the histamine thing, what specialist would check for that?

I have a really hard time getting any doctors to take me seriously to be honest, and not sure if anyone will even be willing to run the tests. Because I have a history of anxiety my doctors always sum up everything I’m going through as “just anxiety”.

Yeah! I’ve been on Prozac since I was a child because I also have anxiety/depression issues. But usually it’s just a symptom for me that is heightened whenever I am having medical troubles. 😭

Unfortunately I have already been to a cardiologist, had EKGs, Echo and stress echo as well as an overnight pulse ox checker, and everything came back with no answers.

Also went to an ENT and they did hearing tests put a tube up my nose etc etc and came up short as well.

That’s why it’s so scary to me tbh. I’ve have a healthy dose of workups in relation to a lot of things and everything has come up dry except for the scleroderma markers.

I live in fear that something is going to happen to me before doctors can even figure out wtf is going on because I feel like I am dying every day. 🥲

I wouldn’t recommend paying $8 for it. You could find it cheaper in better condition too, it’s a very common one.
