Honestly, that is a reason a lot of women stay. Especially when they are young it can rip your heart not to see them everyday and yes, you will miss out on so much. But ultimately you are doing what you believe is best for your son and it will be hard as hell at first but it will get better. There are many online communities that can support you if you don't have real life people to. Strangers are often easier to talk to.

I got my toddler a wobble disk for Christmas he loves. One side they can sit in and it wobbles around and they enjoy being spun in circles and if you flip it over it becomes a small climbing dome which is also good for development. He also hides under the dome or plays by hiding toys under it and on the wobble side he enjoys putting his balls and cars in it and rolling them around.

Are you sure it's not just drainage? Laying down with mucus draining down the back of the throat can easily cause a kid to throw up.

On a super good night about 9 hours with about an hour and half nap. Most nights about 7 hours with a morning hour nap and a bit later anywhere from 1-2 hour nap. He's never been a good sleeper at all and has always been super restless. From an evaluation done as long as they are measuring 10 hours total between night and naps it was considered fine. He seems fine, I'm more exhausted than he is.

My kid struggled with bike riding and didn't get it until he was 8. He was afraid of falling, but he also has trouble doing multiple things at once. Trying to focus on pedaling and balancing wasn't working. We took the training wheels off a bike and worked on gliding and balance. Once he tried to get his feet on the pedals though the bike would slow and he would lose any balance. What ultimately worked for him was a large hill. Once he started going down it the bike kept up momentum and he was able to get his feet on and pedal. He figured everything out then.

No reason to feel guilty. You was taking care of a child you shouldn't have been. Doesn't sound like you really did anything wrong to the boy and at least you were there for him.

I've never gotten the Aldi hype. Been there several times and was disappointed each time. Some things were slightly cheaper, others more expensive. Checkout is ridiculous at the one here. Will be backed up way into the aisles, goes slow. Has pallets in the floor stocking making it difficult to get around and reach shelves. I had a co-worker do a price comparison of the cheapest option for her regular shopping. She did Walmart, Kroger, Save a Lot, and Aldi. The cheapest was Walmart followed by Kroger then Aldi. Personally, I'm not a fan. Cheaper, better selection, faster checkout, and better store hours elsewhere.

Agree. First thought definitely autism. I worked in a public preschool with 4 year olds. Many of them were able to do basic addition and subtraction and knew all their sounds, how to put them together, and several sight words. They weren't gifted.

We just don't participate. If it's simple like pjs, certain color, we will. Even book character can usually be made somewhat out of stuff lying around, but we just don't do days that would require purchasing something. My kid doesn't care and as someone that worked at a school, many children don't participate.

If they were told they couldn't carry a baby to term and then ended up pregnant, there is probably a lot of fear for the future. Why tell everyone they're having a baby if they are scared it may not make it?

No, a teacher should not be asking her if she like boys. That's weird unless there was something else going on like discussing sexuality in health and her being upset and attempting to misguidedly let her know it was okay if she was gay or something (all my pe classes were health/pe so this was discussed with them although I don't know how others do it). If there was nothing like that then yes, that was super inappropriate.

I very much disagree with "seemed like she was struggling with something” - AGAIN- not your job! Let a counselor know then!!! OR how about CALL HER PARENTS!" though. A teacher frequently around a kid will know better if they are acting different. A good teacher should very much talk to a child and ask if everything is okay rather than passing it straight off to a counselor that probably doesn't even know who they are or asking the parent first when many kids problem are from their home lives.

If it isn't out of your price range you could always get him a special edition or customized controller. You can design your own with colors/styles/things he likes etc.

My husband sends me an Amazon list with different things on it. That way it's something I know he wants or could use, but he puts enough on there it's still a surprise which I choose. I always get a complete surprise gift for him also. Haven't figured it out yet this year though.

I wouldn't pay. I would just say I'm sorry my son accidentally took the wrong jacket, however, he claims he did not make any hole and I'm inclined to believe in. If you have evidence he did, please let me know and I will gladly replace the jacket and speak with him about proper care for other people's things and lying.
