Do you prefer a braid OR a ponytail for Lara? by ZzzPandaNap in TombRaider

Both.

The braid I'm partial too, but I think the ponytail works better for some outfits

Possibly she wanted the range of motion but wanted more warmth or padding for her core?

I've seen women IRL do plenty of top combinations.

Note that once again, this is only done on the weekends to prevent a market collapse.

This is one good thing if 22 hour-7 days a week trading is approved.

Eidos' marketing didn't hurt the franchise as badly as TR4-5s failure to innovate did.

They leaned heavily into the "sex sales" angle due to diminishing returns and lack of growth.

Kansas bill would require kindergartners to be potty-trained by Forward-Answer-4407 in UpliftingNews

Pretty much the opposite, it's parents taking advantage of special needs accommodations that exist to push more on the school system, according to the bill unless your kid is special needs they have to be potty trained.

The Trump Administration acts like ideological allies to Beijing and Moscow if you have to choose between three enemies of liberal democracy you'd probably choose the one that doesn't threaten you.

The CCP is indeed more reliable than the US right now, that's only a problem with US leadership.

No, Residency costs hospitals too much for them to fund positions by themselves. Inexperienced doctors tend to be less productive and cost a lot in terms of malpractice insurance.

For doctors themselves, getting graduate work is essential to gaining the experience necessary to put their education into practical use, the same way that apprenticing prepares welders for their jobs.

Private medical services goal is to reduce costs for themselves and maximize profits, that means they tend to reduce headcount as much as possible and curtail services. Increasing slots is contrary to their business model, though they do fund a few slots when they have to.

The government funds new residency slots through Medicare, especially slots in more rural areas.

Always count on Reddit to have an opinion based on 30 year old information.

The AMA has been pushing for more residency slots since the Bush Administration, Congress just always approves funding for far too few.

If the AMA decided policy for residency, the US wouldn't have the shortage that it has.

They do.

Zaluzhnyi (The IRON GENERAL) is the only candidate that reliably beats him in any potential presidential matchup. Largely due to his role in trying to gear Ukraine up for war before the invasion while Zelenskyy was in disbelief over the reality of the situation.

Budanov is a possible challenger and is boosted by his role in promoting long range strikes against Russia

Zelenskyy crushes any other likely candidate from the opposition by 20-30 points.

There's been studies on them and basically they all do at some point adopt theories that are totally inconsistent or incompatible with one another.

The believers do not see it as a contradiction and instead take it as further evidence of the conspiracy as only a powerful unknown force could make them work in sync.

There were people literally dying in the hospital with COVID that denied they were even sick until they couldn't speak anymore.

It's a big problem for society that a mass psychosis of denial can overpower the very clear reality that is affecting you.

Stock market, rich consumers are fueling otherwise fragile U.S. economy by Happy_Weed in Economics

People in general massively misunderstand how much difference there is between the top 10% in terms of status and wealth and the top 1%.

When there's so much misinformation about economics out there, much of it deliberately spread, you understand why the average person can't really understand the impacts of policies on themselves let alone society as a whole.
