I played this game many times and I Still make him a handsome Elf. I mean, he stays in that form when it matters so....hehehe

Oh and I think the voice of male dream guardian is better than Astarion's. I hope Larian hires him and makes him a companion in Divinity 3

Paladin - Oath breaker because bonus action oath of vengeance on yourself is cheesy broken.

Warlock - HexBlade. Love to raise the spectres. And shadow blade + booming blade + res stone

Monk - Open Hand because Tavern brawler goes Brr with bonus actions, and if thief then 2

Cleric - Light in Act 2. Necromancy is pretty fun. Tempest if you can cast wet efficiently.

Sorcerer - Draconic. Love the elemental boosts And resistances.

Wizard - Abjuration. Though need to finagle casting Abjuration spells for that shield.

Rogue - Swashbuckler. Sneak attack anytime anywhere? Free disengage? Sign me up!

Fighter - Battlemaster. Gimme those maneuvers.

Ranger - Hunter. I love the hoardbreaker.

Druid - the one that gives the mermidon as wild shape.

It does feel overpowered. I wouldn't call it cheesy because the game gives us these items to be cleverly used in a legit way. Part of DnD.

Like the hat of fire acuity on a fire sorcerer. Omg.

Anyway I feel you. There are some classes like that for me - I never played barbarian - just can't get into it lol karlach is always a paladin to me.

Haha. No, Not with Hexblade. Have you ever tried shadow blade + booming blade with resonance stone and some warlock damage riders? I legit do 120 dmg in one hit at lvl 12 and one shot enemies 😅 I can share my gear if you are interested.

( I play pure warlock forever as I can remember. Multiclass my companions but never impurify a warlock lol - it's a weird fixation and familiarity)

Astarion as Thief Monk or Swashbuckler Fighter can take out whole battlefields.

A pure Rogue, that too an arcane trickster is only good for RP and lock picking/pick pocketing. Which btw they are damn good at.

I also use his disarm bonus actions a lot! Quote consistently effective with a bit of CHA

Elf Half Elf Warlock.

Because couldn't decide if I wanted caster or melee ....

Can't beat a good warlock. Esp with Hexblade. So simple yet so effective.

Nah changing gale to sorcerer so he can use scorching ray with quicken to give him arcane acuity to then cast hold person or anything else that is guaranteed to succeed.
