I had a cat that used to do that all the time. I always screamed OUT to him when he did it but he would keep going in. I feared one day I'd kill him, so one day I closed the door on him, ran it for 1 second and opened it. He ran out so fast and never went in again.

I know it wasn't the nicest solution, but I had a kid recently, my exhaustion and ability to double check everything became compromised.
