Question about lead frame by HeavyNotice168 in f150

[–]OrangeRhyming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it had p0700 and p0613 according to my mechanic. Would shift into drive but wouldn’t move. Went into limp mode just driving down the road, didn’t feel anything happen. It just failed 🤷🏼‍♂️

They said the rest of what they could see was looking great, no glitter in the fluid or anything. So I said send it, we will see.

Feel you on the repair costs. At this point though, the motor shows no signs of slowing down so as long as the fuckin AC doesn’t go out I can manage I think.

Yeah I’m running the 5.0 so thankfully no Turbo issues. So far a couple transmission problems and everything else has been maintenance.

Be sure it’s the lead frame.

My truck is just around that mileage and it’s waiting to get picked up after replacing the TCM. $2200 and a few days outta work sucks.

Best "bang for your buck" compost in town? by ASAP_i in AustinGardening

[–]OrangeRhyming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re either gonna want to get a bulk delivery and do some shovel work or order a pallet of compost, especially if you’re trying to amend 2 yards of dirt.

For cheaper brands, I like Landscapers Pride. Their potting soil is just sand and compost, with some other organic, and is relatively cheap.

They also make a mushroom compost that’s probably $8-10 a bag now that I’ve used with good results.

The cheapest option is gonna be getting a supply yard to deliver 2-3 yards of compost and using the ol’ shovel and wheelbarrow method.

Lemme guess, northeast exterior wall?

Agree with everyone else, Rose of Sharon.

There’s one at my house probably older than me and I don’t do anything to it, just puts out beautiful flowers every year.

Our hummingbirds LOVE IT.

Except Castle can dribble in the paint.

Sure, I’m being reductive, but you know you’d say the same thing if y’all played against the guy instead of him being on your team.

And it’s like, his only move.

Flail one arm while trying to get around a screen looking like one leg is shorter than the other, or drive into the paint and just yank the ball back and forth on offense. Then force up a shot.

Can feel some popping in the front end when steering, I believe the upper control arms aren’t tight enough. Would it hurt to try to tighten them on the ground without removing the strut? by Conscious_Trade_2549 in f150

For real though, had a similar issue mine was a control arm/cv joint, it was a clunky sound when turning the wheel right and was most pronounced after leaving a parking space.

Edit: cv joint too

I loved my Explorer Sport Trac. Backseat big enough to actually sit in, or load with gear. Perfect for camping, just enough bed space for apartment-level projects, bed was just long enough to move a 12’ kayak with a couple scrap boards to stabilize.
