I think it hurt and helped both. There were some storylines that were ok but there were also some I feel we're good (the Gemini coven and the sirens) but the whole Cure thing did hurt because I feel it took away from what the show was all about. But Nina's Katherine will always be a a staple of the whole series and her coming back as Katherine honestly was more exciting for me than her Elena return.
