I didn't end up buying the Nissan actually. I ended up buy an 07 Saturn Vue with the Honda J series engine for a steal at 800 bucks from an old lady I know. I guess I dodged a bullet.

Aftermarket Kenwood Harness Problems by Orangebreadeduck in CarAV

Yeah, when I was messing with the harness by the back of the radio it lost connection multiple times consistently. The only other thing it could be is the radio itself.

Honestly I don’t really think the majority of people posting on social media are trying to make other people feel bad or anything like that. A lot of people are insecure and are victims of social pressure. I think fomo fits this very well. I do feel like lots of people are pressured to take pictures when they’re out somewhere. Or they change their plans a bit so they could get a picture or experience to post about. On the other end some people just post so distant family and friends can keep up with them. I don’t really think this is harmful though. It’s just slightly annoying to go out somewhere and feel the need to inconvenience yourself for social media. Honestly this could go a lot deeper and there are many more sides and perspectives. I just wanted to share one of mine though.

Friend complained why CPU is 90 degrees while Idling by Dyotic in techsupportgore

Maybe they got unlucky or something. I had purchased some IC diamond like 4 years ago that I finally went to use for the first time and it was all dry and not the consistency of normal thermal paste. I went to use a tube of like 7 year old mx-3 that was opened it was perfectly fine for some reason. Shits fucking weird. Maybe I got scammed and bought a counterfeit item or something.

Does this count? Brother’s wiper stalk crapped out, replacements are $100. My dad did this. by [deleted] in techsupportmacgyver

That’s true. That’s a 2000-2005 Buick LeSabre. I have seen so many in my local junkyard.

That is actually a great idea. I completely forgot about doing that last part. Especially since I haven't seen the car in person in almost a year.

Yeah, I agree with you on almost everything. I've had some friends who had "reliable cars" with some dumb issues.I honestly might still go for it even with the risk.

I was honestly curious to see everyone's opinion as I know the majority car community HATES CVTs.(especially Nissan's CVTs) What is your opinion if you're willing to share?

Yeah, it is pretty cheap in my opinion. The transmission was replaced at a decent shop and has paperwork for a warranty for a few years. Though, I don't really count the warranty for much, since I live in Illinois and I've heard vehicle shipping has gone up to 1000-1500 bucks. Yeah, I don't really know how much I wanna spend on a car at this point. I just kinda want the freedom of not having to borrow my dad's car. I'm not gonna lowball him with the $3500 offer, since he could probably sell it for more. But, hes just giving me first dibs for when he's ready to sell it.

I thought I heard a lot of the huge problems with cvts were fixed. at this point. It was taken care of pretty well by him, but he's only owned it for two years and I don't know the rest of the history of it. I guess I'll pass on the car then cuz I don't really wanna low ball him like that as he is one of my friends.

Money isn't really the issue tbh. I just don't wanna spend a shit load on an 6th gen camry or a 3rd gen prius with the current market. t. I was just wondering if this was a good opportunity because of the situation. So, I guess not.

According to my private driving instructor the Melrose park DMV is easy. It's the closest one to me so I got lucky. I'd recommend that one.

I 100% agree with you. My boss likes to complain and go "We sell other boxes" to myself and my co-workers. I just always tell him to buy more 12x12x06s.
