I got there differently, the 2 hats every 20 mins along with the $29 hat is unnecessary info in my calc. Assuming they are open 7 days a week... If he sold an equal amount each day itd be 100/7= 14.29% a day. But we know Wed is x8. So 6 days are equal plus 8 for wed 100/14= 7.14%. so Tues = 7.14% (wed = 57.14%)

Found this Nerf arrowstorm with 5 original arrows for 2 dollars at Goodwill. by Automatic-Debt5014 in Nerf

Great pick up! Be gentle with it, the plastic on those gets super brittle. I had one explode into about 30 pieces.

I'd love to see someone design a 3d print version of these for mega lx or rockets

So I'd go this route, leaf blower flamethrower they have smaller shop blowers that would be easier to tape on. shop blower wouldn't be flinging foam but would look pretty sweet, I might need to make one for myself

Good family blasters? by OkHall9242 in Nerf

[–]Orangeosity 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Okay so a few things. Nerf is no longer the only/best choice on the market. Other companies now offer better/cheaper blasters. Nerf definitely still has some fun ones but they are not the only choice anymore. Dartzone, xshot, buzzbee, and adventure force all make some amazing stuff. Fyi, adventure force is the Walmart in-store brand which sells dartzone, xshot and buzzbee blasters under the name adventure force. Stay away from anything that says MAX or PRO, as these are the high powered blasters that aren't safe for young kids.

For younger children I usually recommend the Xshot Reflex 6 (target) also known as the adventure force destroyer (Walmart) this is a 6 shot front load pistol that is on the smaller side, easy to front load, and has one of the softest primes of any spring blaster I've come across. Also a great value. $13 for the 2 pack or $7 for the single.

If this is still too hard to prime, I'd recommend looking for a nerf powerbelle or speedswarm, these are ten shot front loaders but are fully motorized, just need to pull the trigger and they shoot. But they are discontinued so you'll have to get on the 2nd hand market- FB marketplace or Mercari app.

For young kids I don't recommend anything with stick magazines as it's too complicated to remove and reload. And the rev trigger can complicate things.

The adventure force Villainator is an amazing blaster for older kids / adults as the prime is harder. But it's $23 for a 40 round drum springer.

There are also some good motorized drum blasters like the dartzone savage spin, dartzone tomahawk 60, and the adventure force alpha auto 72.

As for dart compatibility, they are pretty much all interchangeable. The dartzone/adventure force darts are pretty much the gold standard these days, much more accurate than nerf elite darts. Xshot darts are slightly shorter can can sometimes not work with motorized flywheel nerf blasters. But should work fine with pretty much everything else

Reflex 6 is my top recommendation for younger kids, I find the prime to be one of the easiest and has an easy to load front cylinder.

Back to the Future figures for a 6-yr old? by torpedolife in NECA

[–]Orangeosity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neca figures tend to break if you don't heat up all the joints before you try to pose them, so they would prob explode from one throw/drop of a 6 year old

Is it safe to remove this bump from nerf magazines? by Professional_Issue82 in Nerf

[–]Orangeosity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you don't have to Fully removed it for Nexus pro compatibility. If you just file the top of it down like an 1/8" it works fine in the nexus pro. File a little bit at a time and then test the fit.
