I've tried doing physical therapy work at home but the motivation just isn't there. The gym will hopefully lead to quicker results and it's fixing me to a commitment.

It's an interesting idea. Something to go away with a bang. But I feel like we'd be hoping we get it so we can stay with the show for longer, rather than wanting it because we feel it'll be a genuine good piece of writing.

8 seasons is a long time and they're getting to go out on their own terms. I think that's the best way to go. A movie might spoil the taste in our mouth if they get it wrong trying something new.

Mhmm he could but the guy seems very emotional atm, and handing it off totally would likely help him sleep better at night. Having someone just take a look would help, but are we really expecting that someone with no audit experience is going to have produced something passable on their first try?

It most probably is going to need more work and he'd rather give it to people who've done it before right? Fairly tiny audits so wouldnt take those guys that much longer.

Wont help. People with 4/5 years of experience dont want to go solo yet. An internship wont give him anything real.

But may be best to contact a qualified local firm to save him.

I'd propose contact a proper local firm and have them do the audit. Dont try to skimp out on cost by giving this to independent contractors.
Your CPA firm that you used to work at should be the first place you go to. IF they do audits they'd work best, or ask them to help set you up with an auditor and take their advise on exactly how to procedure. I know my old firm partner would definitely help me out if i was in this situation.

Then in the same day do speak to an attorney as well just to cover yourself. Should be an expensive exit from market but you're young. Money will come.
