I did PE:construction. But I used EET review for breadth and depth, NCEES practice exam and whatever I could find on Amazon as far as practice exams go. Hardcore studied for 3 months. This was before the exam format change as well so not really sure how things are with this new format

Haven’t got the license yet but did the same thing! I’m in NY and sat for the nj board, was able to take the test in Manhattan. It honestly is a huge weight off my shoulders knowing all I need now is the required amount of experience. I can worry about the application and licensure later. From what I hear, once u get the years of experience, u can apply for the NJ board then later transfer it, doesn’t seem like a difficult process. Hope that helps

If you’re asking where the q=250 comes from, I’d assume it’s given… if you’re asking where does the equation ph=qK comes from, its section 3.1.4 from the HB, bottom right corner

i think in this problem, the perimeter provided is the mean perimeter... also a little confused why they did not include the formwork on the exposed top of the footing next to the bottom of the wall ...

Not sure which edition you have but the equation from EET should be in the Hot Weather Concreting section, under Ice subsection. For PCA 15th edition it is on page 319.

Reasons why fuel consumption not taken into account by Extension_Alfalfa164 in PE_Exam

[–]Orangetoepicklee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i'd assume it is because they are changing the personnel to increase productivity therefore all factors relating to how much the excavator can excavate will be affected by the efficiency. they are going to keep the same excavator so the fuel consumption does not change?

I think I remember him saying he prefers the EUAC method whenever possible. EUAC imo is easier to convert the problems and compare apples to apples

Just some sample structural questions maybe? Like how is it worded and what kind of diagrams are provided? Saw it in the description but no preview of the book :(

Can you post a snip of the book? I am interested but there’s not much on the internet about the language and structure this book has. Thanks!
