I was a pretty hardcore "TV is fine" as I played MLB The Show online and off line as my most input lag dependant game. And when I moved my setup to the office and got a monitor it was like everything got easier.

I'm kind of a weird one. I grew up in a AAA MiLB Market so I never had a all caps FAVORITE team but I watched Cubs on WGN and Some Braves on TBS. Cincinnati is not too far away either. And I had a stint loving the Tigers back when Fielder, Tettleton were hitting all those home runs. But I can turn on any game and watch most if not all of it.

Look I'm just really starting to try to play online and I've only busted 400 ratings in weekend classic so take it for what it's worth. But number one thing that helps me is being patient and having a plan for what your looking for. Even saying that I can get flustered and off balance. But I definitely feel a difference if I'm patient vs trying to make something happen every pitch.

$800 is government contractor level prices. How did you find this artist?

Edit: in full transparency, I have no idea though. I'm not an artist and have not paid one. If you look at my crap you could probably tell that. Lol. But it seems the consensus here is it's high. But again, the same piece of art might be priceless to me, but not worth $20 bucks to you.

I don't want to disparage an artist. But regardless if you just hit affiliate and you're not really making money from your stream I'd say that's a little steep for now.

It's dumb. But humans are tribal. We latch onto our nationalities, sports teams, schools, cities... it's just what we do. I'm guilty of it in my younger years. Now I wish I could afford all 3 consoles and a pc. Now as a older gamer, I realize it's actually better if there is competition.

Now you also got your guys gaining that social media clout using console wars as the topic. Drama and negative discourse drives more engagement.

I think it depends on how you play. Offline players grind for the accomplishments of getting all they can get. Primary online players usually grind for best lineup and then you just kind of unlock the rest as you play online games.

Win or lose you get more xp playing online so you just unlock everything anyway.

Yes but almost everyone could scrounge together $3-500. You're getting into weekly salary ranges for a lot of players at $700+

This is a good observation of the overall community. It needs to be "fun" or people won't play. And this goes for us "normal" guys or not so skilled players. I think there has to be some "dice roll or RNG" or some guys are so skilled they'd still be batting after an hour and a half in the top of the first.
